Description

Fuselage set #131 suitable for wingspan up to 3.6m / 142″. Pod is made of kevlar, carbon and glass fabric. 2.4 GHz friendly.

Set contains Aramid Pod, Tailboom, and V-Mount.

Set weights 190 grams (6.70 oz).

Carbon tailboom is 950 mm (37.40″) long and weights 40g (1.41 oz).
Carbon tail boom is made from several carbon types. Materials are strategically positioned so the boom is of its maximum strength and minimum weight.

Carbon V-Mount has ID of 13.7mm (0.54″) and weights 5.5grams (0.194 oz).
You get few different bolts with it.

Pod is completely made of composites, mainly aramid, and has carbon fiber reinforcements on strategic spots, so it is 2.4 GHz friendly.
It is strong enough to withstand even the hardcore landing and forces.
Carbon removable canopy is included.
Edges around the canopy are reinforced with carbon.
Part where tow hook, pylon are also reinforced, just like top of the nose, so it can be landed roughly.
Made for spinner of 32 mm – possibility to mount electric motor dimension up to 32mm in diameter.
This Pod is suitable for wingspan up to 3.6 meters (142″). Ideal for home builder, it can be used as replacement pod for other projects.

The final color is white – gelcoat, resistant to UV rays.

NOTE: The Pod is designed so that you can make an electric version. Since the nose is quite reinforced, it is only necessary to cut the nose on specified length, put firewall and you get a diameter of 32 mm for a spinner.
