POD 121

Description

This is the pod only, the standard boom is the 218 which is 700mm long.  The 209 boom can also be used which is 950mm long.  Both use the 313 V-Mount

Pod is entirely made of fiber glass and carbon, it is very light and strong. 2.4 GHz friendly.
Pod is reinforced with carbon on strategic spots which gives it more strength.
The nose and front part of the pod are reinforced so it can be landed roughly and used for pike-landing on competitions.
Pylon is for AG series airfoil. Pylon is thin and carefully engineered to reduce interference drag. Pylon is designed so it doesn’t intersect with flaps when they are lowered to their maximum.
Pylon is 127 mm (5″) long, so wings up to 195 mm (7.67″) depth and even more can be mounted. Dihedral is 2° on each side.
Canopy is designed so there is enough space to easily manipulate with all components in the pod, allowing the battery to be inserted and connected easily, improving usability on the field.
Supplied with a removable carbon canopy.
This Pod is suitable for wingspan up to 3 meters (118.11″).
The final color is white – gelcoat, resistant to UV rays and tearing off.

NOTE: Pod is designed so that you can make an electro version. Since the nose is quite reinforced, it is only neccessary to cut the nose on specified length, put firewall and you get a diameter of 32 mm for a spinner. (look at attached pdf)
